The Smite Paladin (Smiter) has been the go-to Uber killer since Lord of Destruction. Fully Hardcore-viable and still one of the best Hellfire Torch farms in the game.
Smite always connects — no Attack Rating required — so the build is forgiving early. Fanaticism, Crushing Blow, and IAS scale damage into Uber territory. Sunder Charms do nothing here: Ubers are never Physical Immune, so Bone Break only hurts your resists.
Grief + Exile are the core: Grief's +Damage applies to Smite; Exile's Life Tap keeps you topped in the hardest fights. Pre-fight Wand of Life Tap, CTA buffs, and Holy Shield make a near-unkillable 75% Block tank with guaranteed hits.
Guillaume's Face, Gore Rider, and Blood Crafted Gloves stack Crushing Blow; Verdungo's and heavy resists survive Uber Mephisto's Conviction. Optional upgrades: Last Wish Phase Blade and Crown of Ages for even more Life Tap, CB, and tankiness.
